About

I'm Aleš — a full-stack software engineer with a background in automation, control systems and AI. I design and build software end to end: from the user interface through backend and APIs to the infrastructure it runs on.

I got into IT back in high school, building websites and small custom applications. Since then I've worked across the whole field: from IT operations and network infrastructure in telecommunications, through software and control systems development for technology and manufacturing companies, to internal systems in the financial sector.

I studied information and control technologies at Tomas Bata University in Zlín (bachelor's and master's degree), where my master's thesis focused on control systems for drones. Today I work as a software engineer on internal systems and AI automation in the financial sector, and alongside my full-time job I deliver projects for my own clients as a freelancer.
